We want to be upfront about this one: an apostille is issued only by India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) or its authorised agencies, under the Hague Convention. No private shop, ours included, can issue an apostille directly. What we do is the preparation work that has to happen before a document reaches that stage.
What an apostille is
An apostille is a certificate that authenticates a document for use in another country that is party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so it does not need embassy attestation in that specific case. It is used for documents like educational certificates, birth/marriage certificates, and affidavits headed abroad — commonly for study, work visas, or immigration.
