Stamp paper is not a stationery item you pick a size of. The value is calculated from your transaction, so the useful question is not "who is nearest" but "who will work out the right figure and let me verify it".
Tell us the transaction, not the denomination
When people call asking for "a ₹200 stamp paper", our first question is always what the document is and what the figures are. For a rental agreement the duty comes from the Consideration Amount — the security deposit, or monthly rent × 11 months. For an affidavit, a power of attorney or a sale deed, the basis is different again.
Send us the document type and the numbers and you will have the exact value in a message, before you leave the house.
How long it takes
Once the value is confirmed, issuing the certificate takes a few minutes. Most people walk out with it the same visit. What takes time is not the printing — it is establishing the correct duty and getting the party names right.
Check the certificate before you leave
Every e-stamp certificate has a unique number and can be verified online against the issuing authority's records. The details on screen should match the paper exactly: same parties, same consideration, same duty, same date. We will happily wait while you check ours. A vendor who does not want you verifying is telling you something worth hearing.
Get the names right the first time
First party and second party are printed onto the certificate itself. A misspelling is not correctable with a pen — it means issuing a fresh one. We read the names back to you before generating; check them against Aadhaar, not against how you usually write them.
The date is printed too
The certificate carries its issue date. If your agreement or affidavit needs to be effective from a particular day, say so before we generate it. Afterwards, the only fix is a new certificate.
